More About Sunshine Health Hub

I, Shanelle Le Ray, am a Registered Nurse with post basic training in Trauma and Emergency Care as well as Critical Care Nursing. I have 17 years’ experience working both fields. I have served in clinical, educational, and managerial roles over the years.

I am passionate about my nursing profession as well as my country. I am distressed at the quadruple burden of disease that we, South Africans face. We are fighting against HIV/Aids & TB; High maternal and child mortality rates; Non communicable disease; and trauma and violence.

I started this company to serve to my profession and my country. By sharing my knowledge and skill to empower individuals, companies, and groups to take accountability for their own health and safety, it will reduce the burden of disease our country is facing.

• The principle of “each one teaches one” is what drives my hope for a nursing profession of honour and a country where the health system is not overwhelmed by disease.
